ABILITY Prosthetics and Orthotics was Proud to Sponsor "Driving Fore Diabetes"
Juvenile diabetes is a serious illness and ABILITY was proud to do their part to support the Nevada Diabetes Association in their goal to educate and improve the lives of those with diabetes.
Here is a very nice thank you letter from Mike Smith of Reno Vulcanizing Auto Care.
"I wanted to thank you for your support, and hope that you had a great day at Thunder Canyon.
Yesterday "Driving Fore Diabetes" raised enough money to change the lives of 50 local diabetic children and their families. 100% of the money raised will remain in Northern Nevada to help local children.
The Nevada Diabetes Association will use this money to underwrite scholarships so they may attend Camp Buck. At this camp, we will educate them on diabetes management with diet, exercise, and medication. Many children will have their first experience with medication at this camp.
We could not have accomplished this without organizations like yours.
On behalf of The Nevada Diabetes Association, Reno Vulcanizing Works, Carson City Toyota, and all our other valuable supporters (like yourselves) I wanted to personally thank you."
